Fellowship programs prepare the rising generation of healthcare providers to offer high-quality, specialty care for the communities we serve. Our intensive programs provide participants with hands-on training and real-life opportunities. Patients directly benefit from the advanced expertise of providers who have undergone this extensive training.

Our Orthopedic Fellowship Programs
New England Baptist Hospital is nationally recognized for our high quality and high patient satisfaction. We hold teaching affiliations with these institutions:

We also have been the official hospital of the Boston Celtics for the past 30 years.

Our Fellowships
We offer 14 orthopedic fellowships each year:
- Adult reconstructive surgery
- Foot and ankle surgery, including foot and ankle surgery focus area
- Hand surgery, including hand surgery focus area
- Joint implant surgery
- Musculoskeletal imaging
- Physical medicine and rehabilitation
- Shoulder and elbow
- Spine fellowship, including neurosurgical spine and spine surgery focus areas
- Sports medicine
We also offer an orthopedic surgery fellowship for physician assistants.
What To Expect
Many of our fellowship programs contain a research component, including mentored clinical research. Fellows attend Orthopedic Grand Rounds and are expected to deliver a Grand Rounds talk in the latter half of the year.

Our nurse residency program prepares the rising generation of nurses to provide world-class, evidence-based care.

Our Woodard Health Sciences Library provides valuable resources to these and other types of learners:
