Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Fellowship

The goal of the New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) Foot & Ankle Fellowship is to offer extensive experience evaluating and managing a variety of foot and ankle disorders. As an orthopedic specialty hospital, New England Baptist Hospital has a rich history of training the rising generation of orthopedic specialists. Fellowship-trained surgeons are well-positioned to become the next leaders in the field of orthopedics.

Fellowship Details

Duration: One year — August 1 to July 31
Stipend: $82,000 per year, plus benefits

What To Expect

As a fellow, you’ll gain expertise in many facets of foot and ankle surgery. You’ll have active operating room experience and an appropriate amount of autonomous clinical decision-making. You also may gain further training through the care of local professional sports teams.

The fellow will be active in these activities:

  • Resident teaching
  • Office clinics
  • Weekly conferences

You’ll be expected to prepare at least one research project (clinical or basic research) suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Attending staff instruct the fellow by presenting a bimonthly indications conference, monthly journal club and quarterly morbidity and mortality (M&M) conference.
