One of the most important sources of support to New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) is our Volunteer Team. Volunteers at New England Baptist Hospital represent people from all walks of life, including professionals, retirees, and students. They offer their time, energy, and smiles and reflect the same diversity in age, culture, and lifestyle found among our patients.
As an New England Baptist Hospital volunteer, you may find that you enjoy working in direct contact with patients, or that you prefer to be behind-the-scenes.

Volunteers are expected to adhere to the New England Baptist "Dress to Impress" Program, which prohibits blue jeans, sweatpants, exercise pants, shorts, hats, sunglasses, multiple piercings, T–shirts and open-toed shoes.
Volunteers are required to wear a Volunteer Smock, which is provided free of charge. Each volunteer is responsible for keeping his or her smock clean and pressed, and for bringing it to volunteer each week.
