Joint Replacement Expertise

Our orthopedic surgeons are leaders in joint replacement. New England Baptist Hospital offers robotic knee replacement, which means you’ll have less downtime after surgery and heal more quickly than with a traditional knee replacement procedure.

General Surgery

Our general surgeons have expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions including masses of the head and neck, skin lesions and soft tissue tumors. We also are trained and experienced in performing these and other services:

• Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)
• Hernia treatment
• Laparoscopy (procedure in the abdomen using a minimally invasive approach)
• Small and large bowel resection (removal of all, or part, of the small or large intestine) 

Whenever possible, we use minimally invasive techniques to treat your condition. Thanks to minimally invasive surgery, you benefit from less pain and scarring, as well as a faster recovery.

Lower Your Infection Risk

At New England Baptist Hospital, we take every precaution to lower your risk of infection during surgery.

That’s why, before your procedure, you’ll wash with a special cleanser called chlorhexidine. Please follow the instructions in this video to ensure that you use this cleanser correctly.

Reducir el Riesgo de Infección

En el hospital de New England Baptist tomamos todas las precauciones para reducir el riesgo de infección durante la cirugía.

Por eso, antes de su procedimiento, se lavará con un limpiador especial llamado Clorhexidina. Siga estas instrucciones para usar este limpiador correctamente.
