New England Baptist Hospital Welcomes Michelle McGrory as Chief Nursing Officer
Michelle McGrory, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, has been named Chief Nursing Officer at NEBH
BOSTON — New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) has named Michelle McGrory, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, as Chief Nursing Officer. McGrory is a highly skilled leader who brings extensive leadership experience to the NEBH nursing community. For the past 20 years, McGrory has supported nursing and clinical teams at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), also part of Beth Israel Lahey Health.
“We are excited that Michelle has joined us to lead our compassionate and committed nursing staff,” said Katie Galbraith, MBA, FACHE, Rosenberg Family President, New England Baptist Hospital. “Michelle has proven leadership skills, and I am confident her experience will help her transition seamlessly into her new role at the Baptist.”
Most recently in her role as Associate Chief Nursing Officer for Care Transitions, Rehab Services, and Length of Stay (LOS) Optimization, McGrory oversaw patient care practices with a critical focus on enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring continuity of care. She also served as the Senior Clinical Operations Liaison for the BIDMC Klarman Building, overseeing operational aspects of the newest building at BIDMC that opened in 2023. She has previously led several other teams and initiatives at BIDMC during her tenure.

McGrory is a member of the American Organization of Nursing Leadership and earned the Nurse Executive Advanced Board Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Simmons University and her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Dundee, Scotland.
