Katie Galbraith Joins New England Baptist Hospital as Rosenberg Family President
Accomplished Healthcare Leader Katie Galbraith Returns as Rosenberg Family President of NEBH
BOSTON — Katie Galbraith, MBA, FACHE, has joined New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) as the Rosenberg Family President. Galbraith is an accomplished health care leader with decades of executive experience in a variety of health care settings.

Katie brings a wealth of experience and leadership skills,” said Pete Healy, president, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and divisional president, Metro Boston, Beth Israel Lahey Health. “Katie has been committed to excellence in safety, quality and engagement throughout her career and has nearly 30 years of experience building strong teams, clinical operations and organizational culture.”
Most recently, Galbraith served as President of Main Line Health Lankenau Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where she oversaw strategy, growth and operations of the medical center. She also was an executive sponsor for the Main Line Health Cardiovascular Service Line and the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research. She previously spent 26 years in a variety of roles at Duke University Health System in North Carolina, including nine years as president of Duke Regional Hospital.
“I was raised locally and am excited to return to my home state to serve the patients of New England Baptist Hospital,” said Galbraith. “The Baptist has a well-earned reputation as one of the best orthopedic hospitals in the country, and I look forward to stewarding our compassionate and dedicated clinicians and staff as they continue to provide excellent care.”
Galbraith earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration from Elon University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served on numerous local, regional and national boards and committees.
Galbraith will be the Rosenberg Family President of New England Baptist Hospital. This newly named position honors the Rosenberg family’s longstanding generosity and commitment to the hospital’s mission.
Galbraith succeeds David Passafaro, who led the Baptist for seven years before his retirement this summer.
