U.S. News & World Report Names New England Baptist Among Best Hospitals for 2025-2026
New England Baptist Earns National Recognition as a High-Performing Hospital
BOSTON – New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) has been named by U.S. News & World Report a 2025-2026 Best Hospital. NEBH was nationally ranked in one adult specialty and also received 3 high performing ratings in the group’s annual best hospital report.

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions; only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation.
NEBH was nationally ranked for orthopedics. NEBH was rated high performing in three adult procedures and conditions: spinal fusion, hip replacement and knee replacement.
To determine the Best Hospitals, U.S. News analyzed each hospital’s performance based on objective measures such as risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications and level of nursing care. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings methodology and Procedures & Conditions ratings methodology measure patient outcomes using data from over 800 million records of patient care.
