ATTENTION:

Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

Share your voice. Shape the patient experience.

Partnering with You and Your Family

Patient- and family-centered care is a core focus for New England Baptist Hospital. One way we support this is by actively engaging patients and their loved ones through our Patient & Family Advisory Council (PFAC).

The PFAC offers a forum where patients and family members can share feedback, ideas, and firsthand insights to improve the care and service we provide.

PFAC Overview & Responsibilities

The PFAC brings the voice of patients and families into hospital planning and decision-making. Members collaborate with hospital leaders to enhance the quality, safety, and overall experience of care.

The Patient & Family Advisory Council’s accomplishments include helping create and review patient-facing materials, such as the Your Stay Patient Guide and other resources provided before admission and at discharge.

PFAC members also represent patients by volunteering on various hospital committees, including the Patient Experience Committee, Patient Education Committee, and the Quality & Patient Safety Committee.

Become a PFAC Member

If you are a current or former New England Baptist Hospital patient — or family member of one — and want to help shape the patient experience, we encourage you to get involved.

For more information about the NEBH PFAC, please email Carol Garcia, the Manager of Quality Analytics & Patient Experience or call 617-754-5147.

The council meets on the third Tuesday of each month from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Meetings are not held in August or December.
