About Dr. Kim

Dr. David Kim is currently Director of Medical Education at New England Baptist Hospital for Spinal Surgery and Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tufts University Medical School.

Dr. Kim graduated from Harvard University and Harvard Medical School, completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the Harvard Combined Program and a spine surgery fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.  He also completed a biotechnology fellowship at The National Institutes of Health. He has authored over eighty publications, and is an editorial board member or reviewer for several prominent clinical and research journals. His current research interests include reducing the risk of postoperative infection and clinical outcomes following spinal surgery.
