About Dr. White

Dr. Andrew White is an orthopedic spine surgeon and Chief of Spine Section at New England Baptist Hospital. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult spine surgery, cervical spine surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, lumbar and thoracic surgery, tumors of the spinal column and spine trauma and fractures.

Dr. White graduated from Yale University School of Medicine, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He completed his fellowship in orthopedic and neurological spine surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. White has a particular interest in research and has served as principal investigator in over 20 research projects. He has been an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Harvard Medical School since 2012 where he is also the Harvard Athletics Spine Director.
